Google Software's fail!
Well... Google must be doing something right.

Google Chrome = WIN ( Only browser I use )
Google Search = WIN
Google Docs = WIN
Google Maps = WIN
Google Earth = WIN
Gmail = WIN
YouTube = WIN

I can go on and on...

The jury is still out on this ChromiumPC, and I wonder how much it'll cost.

People have to remember that we are not the target market for this ChromiumPC.

There are lots of people out there that only use their computer for web surfing, email, facebook, and watching YouTube videos, and depending on how good/cheap this is, it will most likely suit their needs nicely.

I don't think ChromeOS in a small form-factor desktop will fail completely...

I see something like this to be a replacement for those nettops that are nothing more than cannibalized netbooks. Not everyone needs a mobile PC or a powerful one. Limited market, yes, but a market none-the-less. Price would be the ultimate determining factor.

The Xi3 is a overpriced vendor/manufacturer. Their product is a great idea but they are overly trying to take advantage of the consumer.

For those that say, "well you do it for less" I am not even talking about their I/O Modules (which I believe are still overpriced). They sell addons like a 1TB external drive....$299....yes....$299 for a 1TB external...5400rpm...yes, just like THIS one for $99, or many others in that price range.

On the topic of overpriced...I don't get their angle. Overpriced product matched up with a free, low-feature OS. Don't get me wrong, ChromeOS has its uses. However, if your selling an overpriced product, why would you bother with a limited OS experience for your user? ...oh thats right, they don't care about the user they just want to jump on the money train for marketing schemes.

Yes, they're a company and they need to make money like everyone else but I feel their price point is a waste, this form factor could be making serious waves in the tech industry if they would just step off their high horses acting like their the new Apple or something.

Mmmmk then.

IE and Safari are jokes, FF has out"grown" its usefulness and is a fat lazy bloated man-child of a browser. Opera is about as practical as running linux for a gaming rig.

Guess you like one of those too eh?

Based on previous statements, your opinion on chrome OS is invalid.

Don't like my opinion unbacked by any facts? Well I've got the same argument for you.
Give me a reason why Android is better than iOS?
Prove me Chrome(webkit BS) is faster than Firefox or Opera
I have tried Chrome Os and it sucks to the core of any operating system. I would rather use windows 95 than that.
Lmao you have no knowledge about pc or software i stop arguing with you anymore. First have some knowledge then talk about statements.

I used FF(always latest version) for 3 years, switched to Chrome(always latest) 8 months ago. I cannot go back. To me Chrome is much faster, doesn't have memory leaks, and when you fill it with extensions it doesn't slow down to IE7.

I also frequently use Google Search, Google Maps, YouTube, and Gmail. All very good FREE services. I have also had sites supported by Google Ads.

Android and iOS are very very similar and have their pros and cons for each.

With a name like yours I'm surprised you haven't been banned yet.. You are obviously the person who lacks intelligence if you proceed to attack someone who has an opinion different than yours. Please keep an open mind or you will not survive life. At least not while enjoying it.

I'd use this as an HTPC granted it can do hd audio.

I think I'd try it. I'm more curious to try the netbook though as it seems better suited to what i'd be using it for. i suppose a chromeOS desktop would be good for people on a budget that only use the internet for email, facebook, youtube, and basic web browsing (basically people like my mom).
