I don't even know where to begin. Let's think about your statement. MAXING a game is just that, reaching 60 FPS. That's that max most monitors can display. Very few people, if any, would say hey I'm going to upgrade my GPU in order to get 30 FPS in this new game. No, if they want to MAX a game, then 60 FPS is the number. There is an EASILY perceptable difference between 30 and 60 FPS, especially in gaming. Movies are a completely different subject; there is a reason they are shot at 30 FPS rather than 60FPS.
And what does VSYNC have to do with it? I'm well aware of it's purpose.
