ouch frown.gif I feel you. Had similar problem with my 500 gb drives i had. That's why I got raid now. my single 1Tera drive has my OP system on it... I got my games on the 2 1Tera raid drives. I didn't mess with the partition this time at all. Learned my lesson lol.

BIOS update should be done via MSI HQ USB Tool. There is a thread about it right here in this section few lines below.
NEVER update BIOS with Live blabla ,you don t really know what it will flash.
Download the the 1.B bios from the msi website ,download from msiforum the tool then flash the board.

Make sure your memory modules are fine as wasted ram modules can give all kind of strange errors.

BIOS flash links :

LE: Drivers for Promise on W7 can be easily made by modding .Yiou will find MY guide here and on msiforum on how to make them.

The USB stick way is extremely simple ,if you have bootable USB stick handy of course.
But if you already installed 1.B BIOS you can stay cool ,no other BIOS will be released for that mobo ever again.
In case the Live utility flashed a older BIOS (which happens often) you can still think of using the USB way.
It s easier than it looks and safer in same time.

In case you get another MSI mobo don t forget to use the proper method ,as MSI does not have a socketed BIOS chip and they also not use dual BIOS smile.gif

Were did you find the raid drivers that work with bios 1.b? I'm having similar issues and would really appreciate the help.

Thanks,
