I game @ 1440 x 900. Suits my needs. No reason for me to get anything higher. Plus i get more fps. Win Win.

An AMD build this close to BD's release? I'd hold off and see what AMD's new architecture looks like first....

This is true. If anything wait for the cheaper prices.

I'd recommend getting the CoolerMaster 690 II Advance over the Sniper.

Issues with the the Sniper:
- Unnecessarily big, due to the extra "shell like" bits on the top and bottom
- Some what loud when the fans on the case are turned up (has a annoying low frequency humming noise, I'm guessing it's from case vibration)
- Cable management could be better
- Comes with too much cable mess (mainly because of the fans)

Have you considered a sandy bridge build? I'm a fan of AMD, hence the 955 BE in my sig rig, but sandy bridge is looking very very nice right now, and I am under the impression that a 6-Core processor is not ideal for gaming situations.

just a thought

Not only it will work but it will be kicking butts!

I have similar setup with HD6850, less RAM, slower (but OC) CPU and its has plenty of power!!!!

I think your systems is solid!
