That seems pretty sweet dude, so this being named "steam mover" does that mean it takes steam and selected games or do you have to move everything over if your using steam ???

I like this, that they have thought of the nooby OC when making the board…. Question, how far will the auto OC push the components and does it do everything or just CPU ???

Well just cause you say it ,dont make it so !

990X is the fastest cpu out of the box? 3.46ghz vs 3.4ghz.

The reason why the 2600k is so popular, is the amazing speed/performance you get for a very small price. 2600k at $314.00 vs 990x at $999.00 The 2600k performs amazingly well, compared to these high end cpu's in everyday tasks. It is also well known for its great overclocking potential. The 990x 6 core is superior only in multi threaded applications, and does not overclock as well compared to the 4 core 2600k.

2600k is a newer cpu. It is actually only a taste of whats coming from intell. Later this year they release there high enthusiast line.( ivy bridge) i expect some really affordable performers like the 2600k, as well as the $1000 plus models at the high end of the scale.

Actually Steam mover is a handy little program for gamers, That allows you to move any of your games from your c drive ( steam apps folder ) to any other drive to free up space! Its real easy and simple to use, and allows you to free up space on your c drive, really handy if your using a ssd , or smaller faster drive for boot and steam !

Thanks for the ongoing support in this mike, your comments are always helpfull and appreciated =]

+rep will keep flowing for you my friend....

And with the 2600k comment a couple of posts above i realised the 990x was a better CPU it just seems stupid to pay it when you can get one almost as good for a third of the price =]

Again mate thanks alot =]

Try going for 2 x gtx 480s... you'll save money on the gtx 580 and it is basically better then a gtx 590 in terms of fps for most games (not all games)...

The gtx 580 is slightly better in terms of performance, but overall, your paying extra for the extra RAM (2x 480s won't be able to share RAM, so you'll only ever have 1.5GB, whereas, the gtx 580 will have 2GB) and for a slightly lower power consumption... you'll also have more heat from your gtx 580...

I would got with 2x on the gtx 480 cause the heat is an issue and 2x gtx 480 should easily dominate on all games... should easily be able to run everything currently available on maximum settings (unless your planning on getting a 30inch monitor) even Battlefield 3 should run at max on a 1920x1080 screen

Also later this year Intel will release SBe, not Ivy Bridge, and in 2012 they will release Ivy Bridge for 1155 (I believe this is 100% confirmed), long before they refresh SBe.

You install Steam on a HDD! Then when you run the App, it usually finds Steam. Then you set new destination for each game you move

It's a 10/10 App mate
Well worth giving a try

SteamMover is in my sig for anyone who missed it
SSD must have App

Are the 480s 3D... suprisingly its not a feature of GPU's that are regularly mentioned on common websites and in magazines....

PC format a british magazine gave the gtx580' a gold away with a score of 95 and the 480's a score of 82.....

It seems silly to buy two cards rather then buying the one that replaced them
