Typical.
Uhm... Not the case.

Black Ops sold hundreds of millions of copies. They had a million players on Xbox Live on opening day. No way Battlefield is going to influence Call of Duty in any way.

We can only wish. I'd be more interested in a futuristic call of duty (similar to shattered horizon) going up against BF3

It won't matter because Battlefield 3 was built with next-generation consoles and PC in mind.

The Modern Warfare engine is using a version of id Tech 3 engine which was released in 2005.

True, reminds me of that sig that a MOD in here had about someone bashing COD and they post how awesome it is 2 days later... LOL

For me though I have yet to purchase a COD game since COD4, I got MW2 from a friend for xbox that is about it.

True, BF wont put a dent on CODs fanbase, but like in most cases the majority does not know a good game even it if hits them in the face. Kinda like mainstream music..ewww...

These, most definitely.

Though BF has it's upsides. Let's hope they don't screw up BF3. I'll be playing that quite much if they do it right.

Well, not the newer ones, since they tend to be quite horrible compared to the good old ones.

I like Black Ops and MW2 was fun even if the killstreak imbalances were stupid.
