That's what I'm gonna be doing with mine. Trying for silence, haven't decided on a heatsink though yet. Might just snag an h50 since they are 59.99 free shipping @ Tiger Direct.

but we'll see.

I might have to give it a shot, I like my Lian Li but lets face it, aluminum sucks when it comes to vibration and noise. I think this and the shinobi would be a good way to go. I just dont know where to get that kit from.

This looks the best out of what they have. It would get expensive though to cover a case in that though. I emailed FD asking them about their kit and where to get it, hopefully I will get an answer soon.

Also the shinobi w/o window comes to $70 shipped via fedex ground if bought from the Bitfenix store.

W/O window?! Ah man it's been so long since I had a PC case without a window, I had to get one.

You could always go to ebay, much larger selection.

Me too, for the most part. Like my Lian Li PC-B10 and PC-V1110a, pretty subtle, if I do say so myself.

I like windows if the design is simple and clean. The shinobi window is a bit too "busy" for my tastes, so I am cutting my own.

Thanks for making this thread!

Yeah I look forward to seeing your mod work. Are you doing any single sleeving on PSU's?

I took the easy way out and bought some single sleeved extenders, pre done. Will do it the right way once I build my dream puter later on.

I bought extensions. I know it's a cop-out, but I have a wife and kid and time is hard to come by. If I had more time, I would love to do it myself. I also sold off most of my previous rig to fund this one, so I need to hurry up and get my comp done!
