Just got a Colossus, didn't really notice this until I went to move it

The top of the case where it should pop into the holes to hold it on nicley.
the palstic pins/studs what ever you choose to call them must have been broken off in shipping.
So the back end of the top basically being held down by gravity.

I am over it already, but may hit them with an email requesting a replacment.

here is the big deal my sound jack only works when I keep pressure on it, anyone else experiencing this ???

Having to get to the back of my case everytime I want to use my head set is unacceptable .....

Other than that this case is seriously cool, got the RED BLUE combo and it is off the chain in the dark

Well that sure sounds like it has been treated rough at some point during shipping. I'd suggest you email Bitfenix and at least ask for replacement front I/O panel.

The same goes for the stealthed DVD Drive bay fronts, and USB 3.0 upgrade kit. If not I am sure I can find a way to stealth the DVD drive my self, and I can paint the meshes myself, however the USB 3.0 kit isn't something I can do.
I also notice the survivor has tooless hard drive bays, 2 sets of 3 bays, is it possible to purchase these individually? I'm not the biggest fan of the Shinobi's hard drive bays and am considering alternatives.
http://www.xoxide.com will be carrying the mesh strips and logos in about 2 weeks time, and they do ship internationally. As for the USB 3.0's and the stealth bays I will forward this to find out where they are getting it.
The tooless hard drive bays in the survivor is not compatible with the ones in the Shinobi. The only way being tooless is getting the window version of the Shinobi.

We'll get everything sorted out as to which parts need to replaced.

I know that the hard drive bays aren't made to be compatible, but im meaning what say I were to get out me power drill, drill out the rivets of the Shinobis hard drive bays, then rivet in a hard drive bay of the survivor, if that was in any way possible. I mean if its not going to fit then obviously I cant do that can I, but if it fits and I can get a hold of one of those bays, its worth a shot.

We don't sell hard drive cages separately. If you're good at using a dremel and a power drill, I guess anything is possible. I don't have the dimensions of the Survivor's hard drive cage, but the Survivor's width is a full 2.5cm wider than the Shinobi width.
Simply placing a 3.5" hard drive in the direction of the Survivor's hard drive cage on the Shinobi, it only leaves me with about 2-3cm of space for cabling and the remainder of the case width. I don't think there's enough free space.

Ok, thanks for the help. Another thing I have noticed, there is a DVD stealthing kit, and many people talk of stealthing their DVD drives themselves on Shinobis, but if this is necessary does this mean that the 5.25" bays arent flush with the front of the case? I would like to stealth my DVD drive, but I would like my NZXT Sentry 2 to remain flush with the front of the case. On that topic, does anyone know how well Sentry 2s blend in with the front panned of a Shinobi?

And thanks for your help xbournex, both here and on canucks tongue.gif

The Stealth Bay, is mainly for DVD drives. Luckily, I have one beside me. As you can see, the circle is for the button on the DVD drive. As it is pressed, the DVD slot will pop out, pushing the drive open.
It's pretty much a front cover replacement with access to your DVD.

I believe your sentry will remain flush with your case, just move it up and adjust it. You won't be able to stealth it.

I wouldnt be wanting to stealth the Sentry, I would like that to remain flush, while the DVD drive was stealthed, that seems possible though so good to hear smile.gif

What do you guys think?

NCIX will be carrying the red, green, dark blue, and white ones in the next week or so.

Now thats what I was looking for biggrin.gif but not pink of course. I think I am likely to just do it myself, I would like to buy some but price wise, its not cheap vs just buying some paint, and then you need to worry about shipping to New Zealand which isnt easy.
