Super clean! The motherboard and tubing gives the case a super industrial look on the inside. Great juxtaposition with the elegant exterior, makes the interior look that much more aggressive.

Thanks Michalius, much appreciated. I took a gander at your Shinobi build log. You've done some really nice stuff with the case, and I like the the writing style of your log - was enjoyable to read, and not too drawn out. I like all the clean and functional mods, nothing excessive, which is exactly what this case is all about IMO. Personally, I am going to try my best to not mod this case in anyway at all...but we'll see how that goes. It would be a first, that's for sure biggrin.gif But I now have 4 or 5 other (read : expendable) cases I can play with, so that should help. I do have a neat idea for the acrylic floor that incorporates two SSD mounts, but I will use some of the case's existing mounting holes to secure it. Once this Shinobi XL is "done", I am planning on "miniature-izing" a CM690 I have sitting here waiting to be hacked up. Hopefully I'll be posting the final pics of my Shinobi XL by the end of this weekend. I don't have a DSLR, but I think I'll take her outside for some better lighting. It looks best with the interior lighting off, and the gold of the motherboard shining subtly through the window, but my camera can't capture that with indoor lighting. Also, I love that you just used the word "juxtaposition" in your reply smile.gif

Hey guys, I have had the Shinobi for a while now and really like it. I keep trying to think of mods to do but i'm too happy with how sleek it already is. The only thing I really did was add sound dampening on both doors and up the front.

Anyway, cable management turned out good and the Scythe fan controller matches it well (the Bitfenix Recon wasn't out at the time).

Yes but with a small problem. I have the H60 radiator with two Corsair fans. The only issue is that when you put on the side panel, it goes over two of the screws that hold in the radiator from the outside. This is normally not a problem because regular fan screws are flat but the screws used by Corsair are rounded and raised up so for the side panel to close correctly, you have to cut the small part of the side panel where the screws are. I will take a few pics later if that helps. My only real complaint with the case.

I want to see pics of that... I think you may be doing something wrong.

you could put it push/pull up top, but you might have to cut the top panel to allow the fan up there.

I recently bought a bitfenix colossus venom which has been my dream computer case. Currently saving up for z77 sniper and I can make my rig all green and black. And it's so massive (considering I owned a CM Stacker). I found the bottom hole (nearest the power supply) very small. Should have been atleast twice as big since most if not all the cables get routed from there. Also the rubber for the cable management holes is complete PITA. They get removed so easily. I was just transferring my case from the floor on top of my steel cabinet and it's no longer there. The HDD guides for the SSDs don't work well they also get easily removed, a small nudge and it will fall off. Last but not the least the front cover should be easier to remove. I was actually scared that I might break the front panel because it was so hard to remove. I really love this casing with it looks and the number of cable management holes. The soft touch finish is nice too. If only if the implementation of the complaints that I mentioned above are better this case could have been perfect.

Bourne, any word on the Ghost release date? Wanting to move my secondary air build into a silent case, the R4 is calling my name but I'd love to use the Ghost instead. Making my place a Bitfenix Household.
