My Recon fan controller started to reset to Auto mode from Manual after computer restarts. It's a recent phenomenon, as before it would always remember to stay on Manual after system reboot and would keep my saved temperatures set. It only sometimes reset if I put my computer in sleep mode and woke it (it would come back on Auto mode).

I don't use "Sleep" much at all, 95% of the time I just shut down, but now my Recon's been resetting to Auto every reboot for the past 3 days. I'm not sure what happened and how I can fix it...

For details, I have the controller plugged into the motherboard (1 USB header), but I never installed the Recon software as I prefer to keep it on manual at set fan speeds.

Any advice?

I have a Bitfenix Ghost question. Does the front panel USB 3 have a 19 pin plug to plug into my Asrock Z77 Extreme board?
I want to try this case out with a Corsair H-100 water cooling set up, and I want to make sure my MB is going to work as far as USB 3 goes.

Thanks,
Mike

I own a Bitfenix Raider. To clean the front filters the mesh needs to be removed. The small tabs that hold the mesh to the front panel broke away the second time I cleaned the filters.
I tried to buy new mesh but was told I couldn't buy parts. I asked about buying a whole front panel and was told I should just buy a new case!

I regret not buying a Corsair case, at least you can buy parts for them.

If we had global offices, then the transactions would be easy and do-able.
Right now, we're situated in Taiwan with no other offices.

Hey I'm just wondering whether the Raider will support CrossFire 7950/7970s with the top HDD cage removed? Length-wise they should fit, but I'm unable to tell if there'll be any obstruction from the pieces of metal that jut out from the 5.25" bays/from the bottom HDD cage (for the thumbscrews to hold the top HDD cage in place).

Tossing up between the BitFenix Raider or a Fractal Design Arc Midi for a new build... But can't quite decide which one to take, but I do know the Arc Midi will do CrossFire in the future without any problems.

Kinda stumped on this issue, would be awesome if you were able to help me on it since you seem to be one of the few people who actually own a Raider. tongue.gif

The car is inside to weigh down the false floor thingy, which is unfinished. It's suede, and needs some stitching, and some other things, but I was test fitting it and thought it looked kind of cool with the car in there.

Also, the car is dusty...I might clean it and leave it in there once the floor is done redface.gif
