I love the simplicity of the Shinobi, but wish it was as big as the Colossus so that I could mess with water cooling. The Colossus looks too flashy for my tastes, so I have the Shinobi waiting to be delivered and will be installing everything in it.

@rprice06 If you want silent, is water cooling not an option? It also looks like you spread the TIM across the CPU...I'm fairly new to all of this myself, but I've been reading that you're supposed to use a a pea sized drop.

Pea size, don't spread, just put the block/heatsink over it and push, automatic spreading.

Just wanted to touchbase with everyone and let them know that im running great temperatures still having used the spread method, I'm sticking with it since i have a friend that went with the 2500k as well and he's getting the same temps, maybe 1 degree better than me, in the same room with the shinobi case.

One thing I'm disappointed in with the shinobi is that it doesn't come with the easy swap pieces for the hdd bays and such. I got the shinobi window that has all of it and it's a godsend. i didn't realize the shinobi without the window just came with screws. None the less, it's still a sleak design and will serve well for the computer I'm building.

The HD 6950 will fit of course. For your information, you get 27cm space with a HDD behind your video card and 33cm without (HDD cage not modular).

As I've seen on the internet, "the NH-D14 will fit anything with a 120mm fan on the back and doesnt have a sidepanel fan over the CPU area. So it will fit the Shinobi as long as the NH-D14 is compatible with your ram."

I'm interested in getting the Shinobi as an upgrade for my sig rig and add my own fans.

Will it handle my rig strongly enough ? Will I be able to OC my video card ?
