2500K and Asrock P67 Pro3 B3

Thread Starter
I recently upgraded my computer to the following.

i5 2500k
Thermaltake Cl-p0024 with vantec stealth 92mm fan
Asrock P67 Pro3 B3 motherboard
8GB Gskill DDR3 8-8-8-28 1t
MSI GTX460 1gb cyclone 800/1600/3600
WD velociraptor 80gb for OS / 1tb blue for data
LG DVD Burner SATA
Antec 300 case
Corsair CX400 power supply

Currently I'm running at 4.2ghz for the CPU and I'm using the following in the BIOS and the computer runs prime95 blend 11hour stable. No Crash in games.

CPU Voltage = fixed @ 1.265v in bios, 1.264v under CPU-Z (Anything lower will give me prime95 crash or BSOD)
CPU PLL = Auto (1.832v)
CPU VTT = Auto (1.05v)
VSA = Auto (1.05v)

My idle temperature is 30c and prime95 load at no more than 66c. I have try to go higher like 43x multiplier but I can't even get it stable with 1.3v cpu vcore, am I doing something wrong here?

Not ALL i5's are able to run 4.5GHz clock speeds. You could always sell it and try again

Try giving it 1.35 @ 4.5GHz, if it won't do it you have a bad batch.

It's not overheating is it?
