This only started happening after the reformat and is the only one of my movies doing it. I googled but nothing came up that helped especially since the last case of it was back in 09.

Basically what's happening is the movie goes through all the BS screens that annoy even a toddler when when it finally gets to playing the actual movie it won't play. The screen just goes black. However if you fast forward the movie it looks like it's playing fine but as soon as you go back to normal...it freezes. No movie no audio. I got it play once but no idea how I managed that.

Someone thought it was java related but I have the lastest installed and hasn't changed anything.

I really wanna test out the new sound setup lol

Is there any other worthwhile bluray players other than power dvd? I used to use it and it became so bloated it wasn't worth using anymore.
