On Topic: Release day can't come soon enough. BC2 is getting a bit stale (still better than anything else out there).

I stand by what I said.
The ability to drop ammo is relatively useless compared to the abilities to heal and revive with VERY powerful full auto weapons (medic), call in mortar strikes, tnt, motion mines and protect MCOMs from a distance(recon), or repair and destroy vehicles and buildings (engi).
Check the average life-spans of non "sit in the back and snipe" players. They're very short, and people don't run out of ammo that often.
I do agree that smoke can be usefull on certain maps, but it in no way tips the scale.
There is no better class to cover a planted mcom than medic. 200 rounds of powerful full auto with the ability to heal and revive your teammates that are also covering the plant. Have fun reloading your small assault magazines when an entire team is trying to disarm right in front of you.
I have asked some of my coworkers who are also avid BC2 players, and they agree, assault class is the least useful, (and the least likely to contribute to the teams objectives).Edited by JasonCz - 5/24/11 at 12:27pm
