Compression fittings (which ones?!) - Page 2

I've got the bitspower black sparkles. Look nice. Expensive? I suppose. But the end result is awesome.

Anyone have any reasons why I should go with the Bitspower Black over the Enzotech Black?

I really don't see what differentiates them, if anything the Enzos should be more expensive because on top of the black coat they have to put on a precise biohazard logo in orange. I would assume that both fittings are made by the same material and in the end are basically the same thing.

I think I'm going with the Enzos. It'll save me $1.50 per fitting, around $10 total...

From what I understand, Enzotech uses smaller barbs, and Bitspower uses larger barbs. Apparently the Bitspowers are more snug on the tubing but I'm not sure there's that much of a difference.

There isn't a difference but if I were to nitpick it, the Enzo's have a ribbed barb that grips better vs BP's funnel barb. Personally I prefer the Enzo's smaller dia. compression ring, and BP rings cut into your fingers like a !@#$.

I'm going Enzotech with my XSPC Rasa waterblock.

For everything else, XSPC Compression fittings. What are the views on mixing fittings?

might be a bit late to answer the OP's question but i posted a thread on on [H] comparing BitsPower and EnzoTech compression fittings.

http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1613304

on 1/2ID | 3/8OD tubing between PB and Enzo, i believe BP is the safer bet. using this enzo compression fittings might be a better choice on 7/16 tubing however.

You should have bought an XSPC Compression Fitting as well

Since Enzo is out of the race.. I'm stuck with either BP or XSPC. I guess this means more research

That op never used the them, which is a bit comical. The limiting factor isn't the internal barb size on the fitting, it's the G1/4 size. It doesn't matter if one is 12mm vs 9mm, then it all has to go thru the same G1/4.
