I may not liquid cool but I am probably more educated about liquid cooling than half of the liquid coolers here. I have literally read up on just about every radiator/block/pump etc. I've been toying with the idea of doing it for a couple years now.
I also built dozens of museum exhibits that all use water in some form or another with my father for about 5 years (worked for him in high school and every summer while I was in college). I have hundreds of hours under my belt when it comes to installing tubing, pumps, reservoirs etc and have built numerous custom reservoirs and tubing systems out of acrylic/pvc/stainless steel. Everything from small pumps much like a PC water cooling pump to monster pumps that weigh 100 lbs and can run a large fountain. I think that's why I always toy with the idea of water cooling. I figure I'd be pretty comfortable making a killer custom loop because I've essentially done it 100 times before.
I also have a degree in microbiology so I have a pretty good handle on what microbes grow in a loop and how to keep them from growing.
I am not a water cooler. But I am very experienced in things directly related to what goes into water cooling
But you are correct I have zero hands on experience with an actual PC water cooling system...Edited by Epitope - 6/3/11 at 2:37pm
