I would personally go for some scythe gentle typhoon 1850s, but either way you will probably see 3-6c difference.

Your yates will actually be fine on those two rads, they're fairly low FPI so fans with low RPM/CFM will be able to cool them pretty effectively. Yes, you'll see an decrease in temperatures, but it may be fairly small, so you have to ask yourself if it's worth dropping the money for AP-15's for a small decrease in temps. Or, you could get the GT2150 variant from the group buy thread for 9$ a pop as well.

That's an almost impossible question to answer.

The question you should ask yourself is, is my loop getting rid of all the heat effectively?

Essentially, if your coolant temp is close to ambient, say 5oC, you wont see much more than 1oC difference whatever you put on there, if it's quite a lot above ambient say 15oC, you'll prob see a nice change.

Basic rule of thumb...

Low FPI (Fins Per Inch) radiators perform better with low speed (less than 1200 RPM) fans. High FPI radiators perform better with high speed (greater than 1700 RPM) fans

Now you need to see what FPI classification the rad you are looking at falls under. Here is a review that may help you out on this.

Basically:

Low FPI +/- 14 FPI or less

High FPI +/- 15 FPI or more

Hope this helps... I too am in the market looking at the viability of the AP-15 fans for my system. Also, remember to always look at fans with a high static pressure to them. AP-15 (considered the standard) has a static pressure of around 2 mmH2O. As you decrease fan speed this pressure also goes down so keep that in mind. No set formula to determine how the SP reacts as you decrease speed.

EDIT: Thicker rad's also tend to cool better than thinner ones. My RS360 does not cool as efficiently as the RX360 with the same fans.
