Hai, I'm asking for a help w/ oc..
So ,I have Intel i5 750 2.67 ghz, and I'm thinking to oc it , but it worries me that I've seen the best board to oc it is ASUS P7P55D although I have Gigabyte GA H55M S2H... And if I oc I plan to buy water cooling.

it can easily handle 3.6 all day everyday even 3.8 i have an msi board which many people dislike however it handles everything that I throw at it my current config off the top of my mind is 200 clock 20 multiplier vcore to 1.388 I enabled c state so that when I am just casually using the computer it's not running full bore. idle temps 30 give or take and gaming about mid 70's.

If I stress test it though the temps get a little high

I've been running my i5-750 @ 4GHz for about half a year now, my load temps are generally around 60-64c across all cores using push/pull with Yate Loons(fan controlled) config on my Corsair H50.

I would strongly suggest picking out a different mobo if you want to overclock your i5-750. Your Gigabyte GA H55M S2H doesn't have any VRM cooling so over time with your CPU oc'ed, on load or even gaming load your VRM's will eventually burn out.

I had a similar mobo a while back before I got my ASUS Maximus III Gene and had to RMA the mobo 2 times due to the VRM's melting with a mild OC of 3.6GHz on my i5. I used to have the Gigabyte GA P55M which doesn't have any VRM cooling.
