Xtreme gamer if BC2 is your sole purpose. Sound positioning isn't good on the DX when playing BC2... :/ Works well on other games, but on BC2 it is terrible.

However, if you value music quality, then definitely the DX.

agree the Xtreme Gamer is very good at gaming BUT is has VERY VERY bad drivers and the card dies after little time nonetheless its good for Music but the DX beats it by levels
and its true the DX is better form the Xtreme Gamer EXCEPT in BC2
so i would recommend the X-Fi titanium its better than the Xtreme gamer

and about the DS its all about to fill the gap between the DG and the DX
so i think its a waste of money (people get it because of the swappable OP-AMPs)

why dont you take a look on Xonar DG also very good for the pocket will help you if you are using headphones , has a built in headphones AMP and its cheap (but its 5.1 only and PCI)

again i think that the X-Fi Titanium will be best choice for you

hope that helped

If you listen to music w/ speakers and use a USB headset for BC2, then the DX might serve you better. If you play BC2 with speakers and/or don't listen to music, the Titanium looks better.

Also, if you don't play BC2 a lot, the difference is sort of insignificant.
