Hi

Can someone please drop a link into a post for me to where I can download the Marvell 9128 controller Driver 1.0.0.1051 WHQL .
I had a look on the Asus web site but they dont list one for my Rampage 3 Extreme.

Why would you want to use Marvell at all?

But if you insist, there you go: http://www.station-drivers.com/page/marvell.htm

It's even newer: 1.2.00.1002 & 1.1.0.6 WHQL

On my system, the Marvell driver outperforms MSAHCI

Here's the driver...

No, I mean why use Marvell port at all. You get better 4k speeds and TRIM support when you use Intel controller.

Sorry for not mentioning that its a x58 Rampage 3 Extreme so there are no Intel Sata 3 ports. The only Sata 3 controller are the poor Marvell 9128.

Use Intel controller anyway. You will get faster 4k speeds, TRIM support and less headache with ****ty Marvell controller. Don't forget to install Rapid Storage Technology as well. Good luck
