Hi All

Just brought an LG 22" Monitor, however the DVI Cable supplied doesnt work in the 5770?

Its missing some of the middle pins and a few under the flat one...

Is there any fix for this?

Thanks

the missing pins dont matter. have you checked it doest work? or just assumed because the pins arnt there? its all to do with dual link etc

If I put it into the onboard graphics socket, it half works, it shows on the screen but the colours are all messed up...

If I put it into the graphics card socket it doesnt work at all... However If I used the DVI-VGA adapter and the VGA cord to the monitor out of the graphics card it works fine.

The missing pins usually carry an analog VGA signal for use in a DVI-to-VGA adapter. Is it possible your screen has a DVI-I (both digital and analog) port but only uses the analog signal instead of the native DVI digital signal?

The monitor has a socket for DVI, and a separate socket for VGA (Dsub I think they call it)... It came with both a VGA cable and a DVI Cable...

So is there no way to make the DVI Cable work?
