Sorry i dont know much about AMD but i can help you with the need for speed. I just got the game and from what i can see their is no AA menu for me and i can see that the game needs it :/.

And regarding your NFS problem, im assuming its because the game is pretty dated atm? either way you can enable AF/AA through the catalyst control center. for AA use "override the application setting" if the game doesn't support AA via the menu, and for AF just uncheck "use application setting" and pop it to 16.

In general, using the FSB versus the multiplier is more ideal for performance when given the choice. Having to lower RAM speed will have moot impact for the most part, since I am assuming your RAM at it's rated speed is well over your FSB anyway. There might be some slight differences in benchmarks, but A) unless it's less than 1:1, there's no worry, and B) the FSB being higher more than compensates for that.

Using the multiplier is more simpler and easier though.

Its necessary to adjust it if:
- your RAM speed is higher than 1600, and you want to run it at that speed.
- you want a higher CPU speed(3.6-3.7GHz+) with CnQ enabled. Most of the mobos will disable it, if multi is higher than x18 or x18.5

you are completely wrong...

you must be new to overclocking
