SoundCard Bench Testing?

Thread Starter
Hello folks,

I am trying to troubleshoot an issue with my new rig.
I was wondering if anyone knows of any tools to test the soundcard.

Only thing I came across was "RightMark 3DSound: CPU Utilization test"
http://audio.rightmark.org/products/rm3ds.shtml

It doesn't seem to work on my system, probably not compatible.
Anyone have any ideas or another program? Thanks.

Don't know how to help you out on this one, but it would really help if you explained the issue with your sound card. Also, if you have an on board sound card and you started having issues after OC'ing, I would suggest to load default BIOS to see if this helps.

I OC'ed my old system once and behond 3.6Ghz my on board LAN would stop working, so I just purchased a seperate NIC card. biggrin.gif

Thanks thestef,

Acutally I am planning to try a few more things and will most likely open up a new thread with a different title.

Just going through a bunch of trial and error.
