This is about as good a gaming rig as you can get right now for $1300. If you could splurge a little extra now, I'd suggest adding a good CPU cooler and you'll have 4.5 GHz easily.

Great build. Good call with the D14 or Silver Arrow, pretty much the best of the best for air cooling, and usually beats those sealed Corsair/Antec water units.

I would personally upgrade the case. The 690 Adv II is a very versatile case, but I generally prefer the next tier stuff.

HIS HD 6950 $240
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...873&CatId=7005

you now have a few choices... either get an SSD or get another 6950 and flash them both to 6970s and you now have a 6990 for all the GPU power u will ever need... you could also just save it or get another storage drive...

here are 2 SSDs i found for (what i think is) a resonable price... (idk much about SSDs so correct me if im wrong)

Samsung 470 Series 128GB $220
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...&Sku=S204-1001

Kingston 128GB $240
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...1&Sku=K24-9801

depending on what you do, this should be about $1300

i hope this helps

EDIT:
OCZ 120GB $180 after rebate
