[Asus] Maximus IV Extreme-Z (Z68 Chipset)

Thread Starter
Hello! I found this and I want to share.

Quote:
Asus is currently working on expanding its ROG series portfolio with the introduction of two new motherboards based on the Intel Z68 chipset, the Maximus IV Extreme-Z and Maximum IV Gene-Z, and both of these should be launched at the Computex 2011 fair.

I'm excited for this one!

Wow, That is a cool board. I looked at the Crosshair board and I don't think it looks as good. Intel boards always seem to be cooler than the AMD boards. I really want to get a Sandy Brige build and get rid of my AMD.

Its probably standard ATX, with the side with the Sata connectors a bit wider

Sadly, it's EATX. No idea why. The UD7 can pack everything into an ATX form factor

Am I wrong or the USB 3.0 internal header connector is just above the graphics cards near the I/O panel? If so what the f.

I like the WS Revolution PCIe layout better. You can fit 4 dual-slot cards on it. Here you need WCing single slots on a few. Need a Z68 version of it.
