LanCool K60 - :|

Hi,
I just bought a new computer and 2 of it's features are the lancool k60 case and the ASUS p8p67 pro mobo.
the K60 as you probably know has 4 fans.
My question is, where the hell do I connect all of them?
(don't laugh at me first time I'm building a computer ).
I know it's probably possible to connect them to the PSU, but then won't they be working ALL the time without any management on them? just go full power all the time?
Is there no way to connect all 4 of them to the modo?
I have on the mobo 2 connections called CHA1-fan and CHA2-fan , are these the ones I should connect 2 of the fans to?
Basically anything you can tell me about how to connect the fans would be helpful.
thanks

I assume the case fans are 3 pin since you have some hooked to the board already. You can plug the fans into any header on the board and can set them to run at whatever speed you like in BIOS. If you have more connectors on the board then your fine to plug the rest in to the board. As for other means to hook them up you can either go 3-pin to molex adapters, or get a fan controller which will allow you to control the fans. If you don't have the money or room for a controller there are 3-pin and molex style voltage reducers available. They come mostly in 7v but think they have a 5v one available as well. If your not using the CPU 4-pin header you can hook the 3-pin to that since it fits and only goes in one way no worry of damaging anything.

If your fan cables are to short to reach headers on board try something like this.

Here is an example of a 5v/7v/12v adapter.

Are these the stock fans that come in the case I assume?

Good luck.

I want to get a controller but meanwhile the best option is to hook up 2 of the 4 fans to the mobo at CHA1 fan and CHA2 fan, since the mobo controls them,
so my question is, which 2 should I connect? (there are 2 upper ones 1 rear and 1 in front).
