Hey all so I want to uninstall my old drivers because they are causing bsod. I wanted to also use driver sweeper but when I go to the guru page it says that it is discountinued? Is this true and if so what is another product that does the job?

Driver Sweeper 3.0
http://phyxion.net/Driver-Sweeper/Driver-Sweeper/Version-3-0-0/

Edit, seems this guy summed it up even better.
Quote:
Phyxion begins Driver Sweeper development as a free alternative to Driver Cleaner.
Guru3D and Phyxion enter into an agreement and Guru3D Driver Sweeper is born.
Phyxion becomes unhappy with his agreement with Guru3D, which restricts him from linking back to his site, using advertisements, donation links, and/or removing the Guru3D branding.
Phyxion had basically signed over ownership of Driver Sweeper to Guru3D along with a contract for continued development of future versions.
Drama occurs when Phyxion uploads a version of Driver Sweeper to Guru3D which violates the terms of their agreement.
Hilbert Hagedoorn is pissed when Phyxion refuses to develop Driver Sweeper any longer unless the prior-agreed contract terms are changed.
Phyxion and Guru3D ultimately agree to end their relationship after more drama.
Phyxion is forced to fulfill the remainder of his contract term with Guru3D or face legal action.
Guru3D Driver Sweeper 2.1.0 is released, contract ends, future versions of Driver Sweeper are permanently banned from Guru3D.
On the same day, Phyxion makes a cosmetic change to Guru3D Driver Sweeper 2.1.0 and releases it as Driver Sweeper 2.5.0 on his personal site, development continues.

"Phyxion becomes unhappy with his agreement with Guru3D, which restricts him from linking back to his site, using advertisements, donation links, and/or removing the Guru3D branding."

Phyxion started to link to their site as well as add other installation material into the program.

I think the only real issue i have with "GURU". Is them putting their name over everything they host. Even though it is nothing to do with them, etc. Heck they could just add a small text with their name and http site. Instead of cramming their name into a .exe. Other then that i am good to go with them.

Ok one more question I can't seem to get into safe mode when i tap f8 during bootup it brings me to a screen where its like which device would you like to boot with after I pick my hdd it just boots regulary to windows.
Hit f8 after that screen goes away. Like right after the last part of the bios menu leaves. You're just hitting F8 too fast and getting the boot menu built into the bios.
