cheap 2.1 setup?

Well my speakers died, so i was wanting to upgrade to 2.1.

My limit is 40$ and I listen to dubstep.

Yep, that's the set. Bass is pretty good IMO, although I'm no audiophile. I did a bit of research on OCN before I bought them however, and they seemed to be one of the more recommended "cheap" setups.

, takes quite a bit of volume for the sub to bottom out Love mine!

Haven't personally heard those Altec ones before, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same speakers in a different shell
