xfire connection tube help!

ok so im almost done adding the second 5870 to my loop but im having trouble getting the tube between my 2 5870's. im using barbs and ive tried about everything i can think of and i just keep having little problems. any suggestions or tricks i can use?

Take both of the cards out and connect them outside of the case, then install them at the same time onto the mobo.

thats a good idea i have yet to try that. i've tried just taking one out and that didnt work. i'll let you know how it works out.
