Playable and nothing more. I played it at a friend's house yesterday. I stopped playing after 30 minutes because it was so boring and the AI was just crap.

The trailer didn't look too bad and you'd expect a $50 game to be good. I'm glad I didn't waste my money on it.

I never played the first, but this could be promising.
The first game in this series was called Sniper Elite and it was a great game, back for win 2k/98 the sequal was Sniper Ghost warrior, and it was horrible. So this is the third game in the series. Fingers crossed

if they could expand on that one mission and make a game like that, that would be a great sniper game.

And in honesty the first one wasn't that bad, it looked decent and had its moments gameplay wise, its not as if it was built on sand.

i got it for $5 and i felt i got my monies worth, i also spent $60 and got BLAOPS and i felt more cheated by that!
You know there is a mission like that in the game right?!?!? did you really "got it" for 5 bucks ?!?!

mmmmm hard to believe

um...did you just refer to CE3 as an old revamped engine? seriously?

The engine is very capable of doing DX11. Just because they didn't use that capability for Crysis 2 doesn't mean the engine can't. The engine can produce some extremely stunning graphics. It is up to the developer of the game to implement and use those features of the engine in the game though. If they take full advantage of the Cryengine 3, this game would be the most realistic looking game to date. Will they though? I doubt it.

I liked the first Ghost Warrior honestly. I am one of the few that actually played it all the way through and thought it was descent enough. It had some horrible AI problems, but they fixed a majority of them later. It isn't the best game by any means, but worth the 10 spot I paid for it.
