I rag on CoD rarely, in fact this is the first time I have ever publicly ragged on it. As you can tell, I am a previous fan of the franchise. I just feel I want to say something to other people about it, and other people can voice their opinions as well, as long as they don't spam it or flame it, etc. I just think it's sad that they put out such minimal effort in covering up the fact that they are blatantly releasing 1 game per year to get huge amounts of money for basically the same thing as last year. It's ludacris.
The short answer is: I'll stop ragging on CoD when they start innovating again.
Also, on another note, maybe the problem is bigger than CoD or Infinity Ward. Maybe it's EA. It seems like EA has butchered every series it touches in the same manner. Examples: Need for Speed, Sims, Call of Duty. Need for Speed was cool up until Underground 2, then afterwards, they slowly got worst with some being okay. Sims 3 was great, then they went back to releasing 10 different expansion packs like they did with the Sims 1. I remember what it was like and it was stupid. Every 4 months, there would be a new expansion pack with 1 new major feature and some stupid digital items but that's it.Edited by Doomtomb - 5/24/11 at 5:48pm
