A BF2 noob. - Page 2

Ok bf2 is a great game!!

1. just remember its been around a long time so some real veteran players.

2. play often, find a server with good players, i suggest a 32player server , the less people the better chance to get some experience in a tank, jet , heli

3. i started on a server where the pilots where insane good, so i stuck to a tank for a long time, despite being bombed alot i got really good in a tank , and even owned the long time players. ( my tip for tanks is , dont let anyone sneak up on you) Keep your sound up, and always look around you.

4. I also started out as a gunner in heli, and bomber first. The bomber is much easier than heli , that tv missle is a tough bugger to master.

5. buy a joystick for jets, you can go on empty servers and practice, you shoud pick it up pretty fast!

6. if you only have the beginning weapons , i love the pump shotgun, one shot one kill baby!!! I have all unlocks and still play engineer with the pump.

7. also if you want to stay on the ground you can cap flags, get a buddy ,or even alone, flag goes fatser when your teamed up. Grab a fast mover ( small jeep, not hmv) and go from flag to flag capping them. Also a good way to get some ground combat experience.

8. just remember the game takes a long long time to rank up so, dont worry about rank it doesnt mean anything!

good luck, let me know what servers you play on, and maybe we can play together sometime its been to long since i played bf2.

In the opinion still one of the greatest mutliplayer games ever, my wife almost left me when I started playing lol. Some good advice here, just remember it takes time to get good at it, unfortunately alot of the best servers have moved on but you can still find some good rounds. I still play every now and then and have a blast!
