Need opinions: Xoom or Transformer? - Page 2

i had an iphone switch over to an htv evo 4g. Now im probably goona end up getting the ipad over transformer, xoom, galaxy 10.1 for the main reason is app support for school. While some of the stuff is accessible through the web on the honeycomb tablet the ipad sadly has the developer support to make it less buggy on a mobile device. plus =( there currently issue with the tegra 2 and 720 and greater video playback. If android had the apps + the issue with tegra 2 fixed id buy one right away.

I sold my galaxy tab to buy a 3g xoom when they came out. I love it. A few hiccups here and there, but its a small price to pay to be out of apples umbrella.

overall, great device. Typing this on it right now...

I love my iPad 2. It helps to open your mind a little . I literally use it every day (typing this message on one). If it was up to me and I had to go android, I would choose the transformer. It kicks the xoom to the curb. It still isn't as good as the iPad 2 though performance wise. I would suggest playing with the iPad 2 before you buy any other tablet. Remember that You will be reading, going on the Internet, playing stupid games, and using mainly apps with a tablet. The iPad does all of those the best. Remember that Android has it's own green kook-aid.

I guess I never posted back here.

I decided on the Transformer. The Craigslist posting never worked out, and even if it would have, I have heard nothing but praise regarding the Transformer, and quite a few negatives and cons regarding the xoom. I'm sure it's an excellent piece of hardware, I just couldn't justify that much money when I could get the Transfomer.

Ordered it from BestBuy.com, now just patiently awaiting

Edit: Not to start an argument, just wondering how you justify many of your points mahi? Have you tried an android tablet with comparable hardware as your Ipad2? What justification do you have that it does all those things best? And I know, there is fanboys on both sides, but whenever it comes to Android vs. Apple.....I will drink the green kool-aid everytime, and ask for seconds. I love the OS, and am enjoying seeing it progress. Tis' each their own I guess!
