Only upgrade if you need it, if you're not happy with your performance, you notice slow downs, you get shuttering which you've narrowed down to being a cpu issue.

If you're already getting all the performance your gpu can provide, upgrading to a faster cpu won't improve your gaming experience.

Bulldozer is coming out in a like two weeks, I would wait to do anything even if you are experiencing problems. It should provide a better overall stock experience at the very least compared to current offerings.

From what I read it's an eight core, and then took a dump in my pants. Sounds like AMD is finally taking the lead back from Intel as the #1 processor developer. Thanks for all the help guys.

no...maybe you get bad luck bc of the binning process but most likely you are going to see the same OC potential regardless of chip.

Waiting for benches to validate, at best it will probably compete with sandy bridge on stock.

from potential of view, all deneb should be the same, however just to much sorting on it, 970 965 955, just like my ram, you have to choose the best one rather than 4gbeco and 4gbxm for more chance to reach 7-10-7-2133 on SB.
