The VX is similar to the Megahalems. I tested a whole bunch of fans on a Megahalems. See item 1 in my sig.

Took some time & look over those charts. I see that for $16 less, I can go with a Slipstream (1900rpm) + Kara Maru 2 (1700rpm) and run 2 to 3 degrees cooler over the GT AP-15s. Guess I'm going to cancel that order for the GT AP-15s and go with the Slipstream/Slipstream 2 setup instead.

Thanks for that awesome info

Just remember that the KM2 is a 140mm fan that has 120mm screw holes. So the KM2 will need room. You'll probably have that room in the pull position, but go ahead and play with them. They are fun fans.

I'm aware of it I do intend to use the KM2 in the pull position and I will definitely have fun with them. Thanks again.

You can certainly attach these fans to your mobo, although I use a fan controller - better safe than sorry. I use this:

Works like a charm. I have 2 Sanyo Denkis hooked up to it - one for cpu, one for exhaust. And unlike some people, I like the LEDs!

btw it was ehume's reviews that sold me on the Sanyo Denkis, particularly their undervolting performance. He was right.
