Getting a 2nd HDD to Raid, can I backup and retransfer data that was on 1st HDD?

So here's my story:

I ordered an SSD from a fellow OCNer a week ago that got here on Monday. Installed Windows and did all the optimization on it. Then added my 1st HDD (F3 500GB) for games and other windows programs. Now I have a second F3 coming that I also ordered from here.

My question is, with all the stuff that is in the first 1st HDD can I just backup or make an image copy of it so that when I Raid the HDD's I can just put the stuff back on?

Re-downloading everything would be a pain and Comcast wouldn't be too happy with me going over their data cap

Sure, it can be done. You need a program like Acronis True Image w/Raid support to do it.
