Battlefield 2 Bad Company & Vietnam

Is BF Bad Company 2 and Vietnam a single player camgaign? Or is it like the online version Battlefield 2 I purchased? I was hoping there was going to be a campaign but there wasn't.

I hear BF 3 will have a kick arse campaign. Thought I'd try the previous versions first while I wait till Fall.

Bc2 is a full length 8 hour SP along with a MP. 8 hour is full length nowadays

Vietnam is a MP expansion which has new maps and weapons.

Bad Company 2: Vietnam is a multiplayer expansion pack that is just for multiplayer. It adds maps, weapons, vehicles, and just a new interface for the expansion. Strongly recommended. Great fun

Just be prepared for 32 player maps instead of BF2's 64 player maps. Try to get them for $15 or under if you can manage. Steam's had some amazing sales on this title.

Overall highly recommended, you'll enjoy it

Thank you gentlemen. I bought BF 2 complete edition but it didn't include a single player campaign, I was a bit bummed.

From what I saw on BF3 I must say that single player campaign demo I saw was truly amazing. Might be as fun as Crysis & Crysis 2 have been for me.

BFBC2 has an AWESOME single player campaign! I highly recommend it over BF2 which is just MP. I agree that BF3's campaign looks to be amazing....

Is there software glitches with BF2BC? Why do you say that?

BFBC2 is the most weird game in terms of crashes.

Doesn't matter wether you have an AMD, Nvidia, Intel, AMD.... It may be fine for half a year, and then start screwing you over and over crashing all day long.

We have Crash To Desktop, being kicked from the servers because packets are lost, hard lock ups on the whole computer...

All that is made by Punkbuster, sadly.

However, I haven't had any issues in the last month, and all I can say about BFBC2 is that, even with the annoying crashes, it is still the best FPS game for me out there RIGHT NOW. It has incredible graphics, incredible gameplay, not to mention the lovely building destruction.

If you plan on playing both SP and MP (Mainly MP, I never bothered with SP), and you like FPS games, BFBC2 is a MUST!

OK ok i see whats going on here that everyone seems to be missing.

BF2 and BFBC2 are 2 totally different games. BF2 is the sequel to BF1942 and will be followed by BF3, which are all computer games, where BFBC2 is the sequel to BFBC, which was originally a console game...

Console games by necessity have single player campaigns, and as such all battlefield related games on consoles have them. That said, before going to consoles, all the PC battlefield games were entirely online. BFBC2 is cross platform (as will be BF3) and as such has the single player campaign on the PC.

Does that clarify things a bit?
