hybrid HDD/or/2x1TB HDD Raid0/or/Another SSD

I already have a 128GB sata3 SSD, + I already have 2x1TB HDD Raid0.

I was looking for somthing earlier, and found= HighPoint RocketHybrid 1220 PCI-Express 2.0 x 1 SATA III

-With this product you can basically create your own Hybrid drive with what ever HDD and SSD you want.

Now my 2x1TB HDD is running off of sata2 port. I have 1 spare sata3 port.
-Should i just get another SSD,
- Or the= seagate Momentus XT 500GB Solid State Hybrid SATA Drive 2.5IN.

Just wondering what will be a good option for faster storage. Or should i just buy another 2x1TB HDD for a 4xRaid0 setup?

While browsing for an answer I found this review of the HighPoint 1220 card: click here. It seems like a good idea, it adds some performance to your HDDs by using an SSD buffer - despite that I personally don't like the hassle and the time one has to spend to make this work.

As such for optimal performance I say you should go for an SSD. For optimal performance/$ you should go for the Momentus XT which has enough cache for regular tasks and is easy to setup like any normal HDD - review here. To have 4xHDD in RAID0 looks to me like asking for trouble, one failure and 4TB of data gone.

props for the avatar.

i think i agree... im only using the 2x1tb HDD as storage, not as anything usefull, especially if i get somthing like momentus xt, or another ssd. I am using my main SSD for OS, Anti-virus, and System Drivers. I want a fast drive like the momentus XT for running applications/games that i dont want on my SSD.
