lol wth are you going to do with two 580s?

two SSD is the way i would go, but once again, whats the point? it isnt going to be that much faster when loading programs haha

i think the HAF X would be the last case i would get if i had that kind of money. look at the lian-li pc-x900B for air cooling

Save 20K more and get a Cray CX-1, lol... I would agree with getting a mobo with 2 processors. Wait until bulldozer is released and you can get 16 core Opteron CPUs. Quad SLI 580s would be the best bet for right now, or you could wait until the 600s series, or the 7K ati series.
For cooling, you could probably go with phase change if you have left over money, other than that I would say a good watercooling loop with maybe 3 or 4 360mm rads if you're gonna do the G-cards too.
For all this, you could probably find a dual width case, kinda like one of the dual Lian-Li's.
Your budget is quite high, splurge a bit and get the best. I'm not sure what intel offers for server/ multi socket mobo CPUs, but i know AMD opterons would be great.

I can imagine it now.... Your 32 core beast running at 5.5GHZ at -20C, quad GTX 680s, and your 2 240x360 rads..... Be the envy of every LAN party, DO IT!

EDIT- The post 2 above me would be good, but be outdated in 2 years. And a 4core wouldnt be cool whatsoever.. 4, or 32 cores... Your choice. You would probably wanna only go with 3 GTX 680s though. The price would probably be over 6K for this. Drop a GPU, gain 600$
