Verizon Android phone..which?

Note, there's no 4G in my area. It seems the only dual core is a Droid X2. What are your opinions?

Samsung Droid Charge hands down.

EDIT: Didn't see the DroidX2, that's prolly your best choice

Unless you want a keyboard...

The X2 isn't a bad choice just seems like its not that big of an upgrade from the first. Nothing really uses a dual core at all yet and it was lame it didn't have 4G (even if you cant get it yet). If I had a dual core device without the 4G I would be like what the heck!

Get the phone that fits your hand the best and has the features you are looking for. I have had the original X since day one and have loved it! Just hold off a little longer if you can, there should be more Dual Cores with 4G etc where as the X2 is missing a couple features at this point. I have to admit the camera on the X sucks, not sure if this is fixed in the newer X2. I have read it uses the same sensor so make sure you check the camera before you buy it.

Droid Charge is nice, though Samsung is flaky about their upgrades when it comes to the Android OS.

I have had an upgrade since Feb and haven't used it cause everything else they have is not that big of an improvement from what I already have.

Don't get the Thunderbolt. I got it a week after it came out and have nothing but problems. From the phone constantly freezing, like you go to your messages, type, the keys will lag, and go to switch to another person, the phone will freeze. Nearly every app at some point will crash and freeze and you get an error to force close it. Over all I am not impressed and very pissed. Update was supposed to come out the 3rd and it has been delayed for unknown reasons and the update didn't even mention a lot of bugs that I've been having.

I'd go with the x2 or droid x

The Droid X2 runs the same keyboard as the original Droid X on gingerbread and its amazing. The buttons are actually bigger than most phones.

I would recommend getting the x2 if you must have a phone now, but waiting if you don't need the phone right now.
There are some epic phones that should be dropping soon, all with dual cores.

Haha not all, LG Revolution comes with a single core which comes out tomorrow for Verizon.

I really really want the Samsung Galaxy SII or to wait and see what the iPhone 5 has in store but I'm dying for a smart phone. I'm still using my enV 2... I don't know if I like how big and clunky the Droid X looks but I also don't know if I can hold out much longer!

why are you talking about a single core phone, when I said the x2? I am confused. the X2 is dual core. Most of the new phones coming out are going to be dual cores. Well the good ones anyway.

droid x2 is great but just be prepared for a locked bootloader, but if your looking to root and other things of that sort, then i guess it wouldn't be a problem.
