And if you want to have different settings profiles for each game, you can try url=http://www.radeonpro.info/en-US/, it's pretty useful.
None of his games use Tessellation, at least none that he mentioned aside from BC2. Personally, BC2 was never that hard on any GPU as the 5000 series GPUs just failed at rendering playable framerates for DX11.

The lesser 460 is beastly for it's lesser amount of Vram and lower specs. It's still a powerful little GPU, overclocks like crazy too.

A 6850 should outpace it in every way though. That GPU really should just crush it like nothing.

Thanks to your help, things seem to be running smooth as silk ^_^

Question though: If I overclock it to some of the higher-range overclocks people have attempted to reach, should I further alter any of these settings?

I guess it will just depend on the performance boosts I'm looking for, but just curious as to your opinions.

I don't plan to overclock it till i start needing to push the card, but it's always good to have the info =)

Doh! I forgot about the CCC settings. Glad you got that resolved. Anyways, what I do with those settings is put everything on "Use Application Settings". Let's say you play some CS:S and you can max everything and add a lot of AA since it can handle it, then you go to run BC2 and your rig starts failing hardcore. I'd rather just keep all the settings controlled by the game I'm running instead of the drivers.
