it shouldnt bottleneck that much tho you might want to OC the CPU more but i have no knowledge about ur cooler aswell also keep a eyes on ur temps and dont go over the max safe voltage for ur chip

i might reccomend a different power supply, HEC's in general are not great units and if a power supply frys it might take everything else out with it :| a cheap low watt that might suit you is the antec neo eco

I don't think you'll bottleneck at low resolutions (1080p and below) in most games. You may bottleneck in some of the more intense newer dx11 games. You can overclock the cpu some to help. Of course your psu brand is questionable for that. The rated wattage is fine for the proposed setup, but I'd be a bit uncomfortable. Get a corsair tx-750v2 or better and it will last you through another cpu and gpu upgrade.

750w is total overkill. The only reason you'd need to replace that HEC is if it's getting old and the wattage is going out of spec. You don't need more than 500W, you just need to make sure your PSU is still in good enough shape to do that.

Also, when you upgrade your RAM make sure that you're buying DDR2 and that the frequency is supported by your mobo.

I have no experience with that cooler. Depending on the price I'd suggest switching it out with a CM212+. For the $20 you can get it for it's the best on the market.

And no, you will not bottleneck.

I'm not sure about replacing the PSU though. My budget is tight and will only fit the bill for the RAM, GPU and the cooler. Maybe i can downgrade something?

Selling the 9600gt should pay for the memory. Just price it for a quick sale.

I'd keep the PSU, and make your upgrades as planned. But start saving for a new PSU and replace it when you can.

EDIT: have you considered buying from the forsale section here? ddr2 will be much cheaper here than new. and most people upgrade much sooner than they need to so they're usually still under warranty.

I've bought my mobo/case/graphics card and sound card all from here and have been using them since ~2008.
