Yeah just ignore that guys post. Corsiar is not the 'only' power supply worth buying. Keep that in mind. Just make sure you get a company with good rep. Corsair tends to cost a little more and his budget is low. But never skimp with an off-brand. I may reply with a suggestion possibly. Plus I wouldn't consider the AMD 955 an upgrade.

Indeed. Buying a 955 at this time is ridiculous. It's either BD or nothing if you're going AMD.

If I were you I would do this.

Video Card -
XFX HD-687A-ZNFC Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity

also comes with free copy of Shogun game

192.99 - 5.00 instant = 187.99 + 20.00 mail in rebate

Power Supply -

CORSAIR Builder Series CX500 V2 500W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

69.99 - 10.00 instant = 59.99 + 20.00 mail in rebate

247.98 final price not counting rebates

Skip the ram for now and upgrade that after so you have time to make sure you know what to buy and if it's compatible as well. I think this is your best bet by far.

40 dollars off after rebates with free game and high quality parts with great warranties. FTW! other companies will give you a fraction length of warranties such as 1 year I seen commonly. You will get much longer warranties with these companies.

Good luck with whatever your choice, but to me I feel this choice would make you the most satisfied. Those companies also give great support when needed.

Yeah that's good you chose 600w since that will give you the headroom for overclocking as well if you do it. And the 560 is a good card, even though it's not the Ti version. Good choice to hold off on ram since basically if the ram you have works then it works that's all there is to it. You will barely tell the difference since it's not wise to chase ram MHZ as you would with CPU and GPU clocks. Of course they help, but for the average user it shouldn't be a big deal. Just don't buy from cheap companies. If you don't want to buy expensive ram then you could settle for a value model from a good company such as g.skill, corsair, kingston, etc.
