I don't really care for the LED toggle on the key. Also, I like that the keys aren't printed on the top. I might even have all blank keys if it were practical, but I don't know my keyboard that well yet. The Leopold does have some things the ninja doesn't, but I was ok with it. The USB position for one was pretty nice, and it is cheaper.

No, not necessarily Filco - I changed my post above now. I saw it when I was googling before it was released, but I can't find it now. I thought it was the diatec site, but that's not it. It looked like a product specification that said that the coating on the keys was removed in the Majestouch II, along with a lot of other specs.

That's why you see pics of shiny ones but the letters aren't stained.

I'm not positive about the Ninja so have been asking for someone to pull a key and look under bright light.
My flash is the brightest light I have at the moment. Here's a picture of the pulled windows key:

Thanks! The Ninjas look uncoated.

The other Gen2 Filcos are coated (I have the Red Cherry one).

Is this because of the Ninja's printing location?

Any appreciable difference without the hardener since they are blank?

I would think the hardener doesn't make that much difference for a blank key. It just wears shiny eventually anyway and MOST people never see a ring (although some people with long fingernails or ALien Chemistry sometimes do).
