Hi ,

I've finally got around to checking my temps with my new overclock and i'm not sure if they are high or not. I havn't been using watercooling that long to really know what to expect.

Overclock:
2600K @ 4.5Ghz 1.355v using Dynamic Vcore +0.05
drops down to 1.272 under load

Watercooling kit:

Radiator: EK Coolstream 360
CPU Block: XSPC Rasa
GPU Block: EK-FC580 Nickel + Acetal
Pump: Swiftek MCP655
Hosing: 7/16″ Primochill White
Barbs: 1/2″ Barbs
Fans: 3x Gentle Typhoon Ap-15 (1850rpm)
Coolant: distilled water

Ambient is 20c.

The reason i asked is after googling "2600k 4.5Ghz" i see a lot of temp ranges. For example people getting 60c at 4.6Ghz full load (Prime 95) with a H50. So i was surprised that i was hitting 55c. Then again i'm running Linx with AVX support which, in theory, should 'cook' the CPU a little more than Prime 95.

for me the new linkpack produces 10c higher than prime 95 after 12hours lol

I would say your temps are really good, I just took a quick look at the 'stable club' and there is member there using watercooling for 4.5ghz and his highest core is 60.

EDIT: check out the stable club, the spreadsheet is intended to give as much info as possible, hopefully it should somewhat help you out.
