WMP 12 album art disappeared

What's going on here? I can't even uncheck album art. I tried restarting WMP, but it didn't help. All the tracks play fine.

Sometimes WMP sets the album art automatically and messes things up. I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for but it may help:

You don't have to edit the Metadata, so you can only do the first 3 steps.

Bump. I really can't figure this out.

Also, the horizontal scroll bar has disappeared, even though information is being hidden to the right.

I also just noticed that if I view my music by artist or album, then all the album art displays normally. It is only when I view the library in the default Music mode that the art is nonexistent.

The solution was to click the small arrow to the left of the search bar, and select 'Expanded Tile'.
