I'm looking for a case in the future and am stuck between the Little Devil V8 and Caselabs M8. What are some of the pros and cons of each? The LD is a bit more expensive but they are both expensive anyway, so cost should not be a significant factor. The watercooling ability of both is quite similar and sufficient for my needs. I don't have a desire to do an SR-2 like build, although may do one in the future if an SR-2 version of SB or IB is released, but I have not heard anything about this at all yet.

I like the LD because it has a more standard tower form factor, so it takes up less of a footprint on my desk. However, it is like $200 more than the M8. It also seems to have good build quality and LD is fairly active on the forums, although he is located in Europe.

I like Caselabs because it seems to have excellent build quality, as confirmed by almost all of its users, and the maker of it seems to be really responsive to the users, and has good customer support.

So which one would you guys pick and why?

I'm getting the T10 for me. My reason is I would like all my fat rads installed internally. I'm planning on installing three 360 fat rads & 1 swiffy all in push/pull w/ the extended top. The LD is too expensive & you can't put that much rads there all inside. But I'm also considering MM Ascension Extension, just researching it right now if more fat rads can be put in there.

For the M8, the only disadvantages I can think of, is if you chose 360 fat rads, one rad can only have a push/pull config, w/c is the side mounted one.

Yea I would like all the rads internal as well. The difference is I only want a push config, the increase in noise compared to performance is not worth it for me to go push/pull. The most I plan to cool is a CPU and maybe 2 GPUs, so 3x 360 rads and m8 is enough for me.

I'm hoping for around mid-end of July as well, and I'll definitely do a worklog too.

Well there are some hidden costs, like shipping, tax, casters, XL window, front panel accessory, comes to about $500 for the M8 for me.

I won't say anything bad about Little Devil. In fact, I may buy one of their chassis next year. They're sold by Sidewinder Computers and FrozenCPU here in the USA, so shipping won't be bad, and they run at 679.99. They're built very well and look excellent.

That said, I did buy a CaseLabs M8. In fact, one of the first runs before there was an MH10...

The CaseLabs case is... Well, it's wonderful. Though now I wish i got a bigger one. Ah well. Nonetheless, I can'tt say enough about their Customer Service.

Why do you wish you got a bigger one? Is it cramped?
