Welcome to OCN!

My name is Blostorm...But you don't care!

O well! First of all, keep your temps UNDER 55 degrees celcius (Core temp since you don't have a thuban).

Max voltage for CPU on air is 1.5, 1.55v under water or high end air cooler.

For you I would stay below 1.5v, considering I don't know your cooler.

I would try the following settings and tweak from there:

FSB 200
CPU MULTI 20x

CPU VCORE: 1.5v , test if it's stable for multiple hours of Prime95 (I do 3 hours for quick stability test and when I'm set, I do 12 hours++).

If stable, go to 1.475 and keep lowering your vcore until it's not stable anymore.

Always watch your temps.

When you set with your CPU speed, we will see what we can with your ram and NB.

Also, you should get another stick of 2GB ram (same model) to run DUAL CHANNEL since you have 3 sticks, it's running single channel.

I'm actually correcting my teacher in my hardware class, he thinks AMD designed the Pentium 4 or something. He said the machines we will work on are AMD Pentium 4 x2. He said these are some really powerful machine. I actually had a good and he kicked me out of the class. I then told him he's completely stupid for saying such stupid things in front of unknown students... Imagine the students took that in note and use it during an interview or what ever... 97% of the students in my class are so new to this thing, we do like the exams at home and they send me their actually copy so I can correct it and tell them why...This teacher was so tourist.

Thanks for the help btw what is Thuban? and how do you run Prime95? do you have to type any command or just run it? I'll try it when i get home tonight, I built this system on my own it just i never touch in the field of OverClocking, I used the level up software on my pc and i changed it to 3.8ghz right now it is at 3.8ghz. The temperatures out side was like 15 and my cpu temp was at 40, is that normal? I already got the new Ram shipped to my house it is waiting for me at home haha, I'll if you guys still on I'll discuss more of whats going on after i try it out.
