I am getting all 3 of those

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231190

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103808

coming from amd phenom x3 720 with a GA-MA69G-S3H, and 2gb of ddr2 ram.

Upgrading because it seems like I can't run any games on that pc any more. Is this worth it? or should i just upgrade the system i have staying at ddr2?

My video card is 8800GT

Playing at 1440x900 res.

Thanks ffejrxx for the reply.

The CPU is at 3.1 right now, thats the highest I was able to take it with this motherboard.

I am just wondering is that amd 720 x3 enough for games like gta at 1440x900?

Also what video card would you recommend for me to get for that resolution?

Do you think it is worth it if i looked around for a used 5850?

Also, I just plugged in my 5850 into the other comp the one I am trying to upgrade. The game I am trying to run is APB reloaded which is the same as GTA IV. It seemed going from the 8800gt to the 5850 had no effect. Do you think his 2gb of ram is slowing him down this much?

gta iv is a memory hog (extremely poorly coded/ported)
4g would help with it

This RAM for $43 shipped straight no rebates is the better deal (then again if you like rebates the PNY kit is good deal)
