Want a New PSU. Suggestions?

hey ocn.

so when i was first building my system my parents got me my current psu (they didn't really know what to get) for Christmas and wasn't too bad then but now i HATE it. i hate the stupid modular blue LED's and led fan on it.

since im getting my new case (600t) and want a new psu, im looking for something that will run my system with room for maybe another hdd and a W/C loop and is around $60-$80 and is not modular and no lights on it.

i have this pos: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-037-_-Product

What I'd advise you do if you want to get something better than you normally would at that price range is that you get either the Xigmatek NRP-PC702, Antec EarthWatts EA750, or the XFX XXX 650W because those will be able to handle another GTX 470 and will give you headroom for the future.

Just FYI the Kingwin Mach 1 1000W is actually pretty decent in terms of electrical performance, aside from wonky and high +12V ripple at very high loads you won't get anywhere close to.

If you want something new for a i7-860 and GTX 470 with overclocks and a few hard drives, there's an Antec High Current Gamer 520W for $60 shipped:

If you want to do a rebate, a better deal would be the Corsair CX500 V2 for $60 (before $20 rebate):

I would suggest http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817207013 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139020
The latter is more than you need, but it's cheap, so why not.

your sig rig? Got more than enough

I would say yes until you add a loop, in which case I don't think 500 will be enough for that. However, if you're short on cash why are you even thinking about adding a wc loop? If no wc, then it's fine. If yes, then upgrade.
